FREE Qigong Taster Sessions
We have been running taster sessions as an introduction to Shaolin Cosmos Qigong, to help you decide whether Qigong is a good fit for you.
These consist of a core introduction to the art – its history, philosophy, how it works, how to practice it, and more importantly, it will provide an opportunity for you to try it for yourself. Qigong is one of those experiential arts that is challenging to capture in words. You have to try it to experience it.

Introduction to Qigong Fundamentals
This 12-week introduction to Shaolin Cosmos Qigong will establish the foundations for practicing high-level Qigong safely and effectively on your own so that you can reap the benefits of this great practice.
Think of it as learning to drive. When you pass your test, you have all the basic skills you need, and yet your skills will continue to grow and develop with practice and experience.

18 Lohan Hands
The 18 Lohan Hands is a series of 18 Qigong patterns, forms, or exercises taught by the Venerable Bodhidharma to the monks at the Shaolin temple to strengthen them not just physically but also emotionally, mentally, and spiritually so that they could cultivate towards enlightenment.
Over time this set evolved into the 18 Lohan Fist which became the prototype of Shaolin Kung Fu.
This set will be taught in 2 courses of 12 weeks each.
You must have completed the Qigong Fundamentals course and have acquired the skill of energy flow to attend this course.

Matthew is a brilliant teacher. You can tell this form of Qi Gong works as he's very calm and has a glow about him. The art itself is very easy to learn and put into practice straight away. After the first session I already noticed how much more relaxed I felt and how going about my day there was more awareness of my inner state - where I was feeling tense in the body and mind etc. - and thereby could relax the relevant areas and let go. There is something very light and non serious about this form of Qi Gong. The emphasis is on enjoying your practice, relaxing and smiling from the heart, and just 15 minutes of practice once or twice daily brings enormous benefits to body, mind, emotions and spirit.

I did Tai Chi and Chi Kung for a few years twenty years ago and went along to the day workshop with Matt just because my friends were going. I wasn't expecting anything special but how wrong could I be. Within a few minutes of starting the exercises, I could really feel the chi.
